The world's best airports and airlines have been named.

The British company Skytrax and the website AirlineRatings.com have published their annual rankings of the world's best airports and airlines.

According to Skytrax, the top five airports in 2026 are in Asia. Singapore's Changi Airport took first place, winning the award for the 14th time. They are followed by Incheon International Airport (Seoul, South Korea), Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) (Tokyo, Japan), Hong Kong International Airport (Hong Kong), and Narita International Airport (Narita, Japan). Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport was named the best in Europe for the fourth year in a row, ranking sixth globally.

Rome, Istanbul, and Munich also made the top ten. Helsinki, Vienna, London, Amsterdam, and Zurich made the top 20.

Qatar Airways was named the best full-service airline for 2026. The top five also included Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Korean Air, and STARLUX Airlines.

Turkish Airlines achieved the highest ranking among European carriers (seventh place). Next came Virgin Atlantic, KLM, Air France, and LOT Polish Airlines.

Lufthansa took first place in the hybrid airline category. "Lufthansa embodies what we look for in the best hybrid airlines in the world," noted Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings.com.

The top 20 European hybrid airlines also included SWISS, Finnair, British Airways, TAP Portugal, Iberia, Air Europa, SAS, Austrian Airlines, and ITA Airways.
