The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has been officially recognized as the largest such museum in the world and has been officially included in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Sheida Subashi, a representative of the organization, presented the award to members of the Center's Scientific Council.
"The scale, conceptual integrity, and level of implementation of the complex fully meet the criteria of Guinness World Records," said Subashi, emphasizing that the project represents a unique example of integrating historical heritage with modern museum technologies.
The Center also features interactive exhibits dedicated to various Renaissance eras in the region, digital labs, and "Time Capsules." Established in 2017 at the initiative of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Center brings together cultural layers of the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods, promoting ideas of peace, enlightenment, and tolerance.
