Russia has doubled the fees for expedited visa processing for foreigners
As of October 14, Russia has increased consular fees for the expedited processing of visas for foreign nationals. The cost of visas processed within three business days has doubled, the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan announced.
These changes are stipulated by a Russian government decree dated October 2, 2026. The new rates apply to the expedited processing of most visa categories, with the exception of standard student and transit visas. Fees have also been raised for work visas and visas issued for the purpose of obtaining a temporary residence permit (TRP).
