A British balloonist has set a record by flying a balloon through 118 countries.
English balloonist Ellie Dunnington set a new record by flying over 118 countries in a hot air balloon. The pilot achieved this impressive feat during the international hot air balloon festival in Khiva, Uzbekistan, Viory reports.
Dunnington has been traveling in hot air balloons for 20 years. Previously, she shared a passion for hot air ballooning with her husband, Phil, who holds the record for flying over 127 countries. Despite Phil's passing three years ago, Ellie not only continued his legacy but actively strives to surpass his achievements.
Dunnington noted that each new flight brings her joy and the opportunity to discover new cultures and countries.
