Brazilian Robson Jesus has become a Guinness World Record holder for the fastest time to visit all 193 countries recognized by the UN. He completed the journey in two years and 42 days, according to Metropoles.
Jesus began his round-the-world trip on February 28, 2022, in Thailand and concluded in April 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil. He spent an average of three days in each country.
According to the traveler, his dream of seeing the world began in childhood, and the 2020 pandemic inspired him to pursue it.
The trip cost Robson Jesus approximately $19,500 of his own savings. He partially offset the costs by blogging about his travels and selling photos and videos to various websites.
