The world's longest glass suspension bridge will be built in Kyrgyzstan

Plans are underway to construct a 732-meter-long glass suspension bridge in the Ala-Archa State Nature Park in Kyrgyzstan. Once completed, it could become the longest structure of its kind in the world and a candidate for the Guinness World Records.

Kanybek Tumanbaev, Head of the Presidential Affairs Department of Kyrgyzstan, visited the park and met with representatives from a European company involved in the project. The parties discussed construction plans and inspected the proposed site for the bridge.

According to the current schedule, construction is set to begin in November 2026, with completion slated for the end of 2027.

In addition to the bridge, there are plans to develop an eco-friendly pedestrian trail in the park, stretching from the Tepshi plateau toward the Teke-Too mountain and a waterfall.

In recent years, Ala-Archa has been actively expanding its tourism infrastructure; a modern cable car has already been opened, and vacation lodges have been built. Furthermore, the construction of a five-star hotel is nearing completion.
