Turkmenistan Airlines has extended the suspension of scheduled flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE) until June 15, the airline's press service reported.
"Due to airspace restrictions in the Islamic Republic of Iran and based on a risk assessment to ensure flight safety, the airline announces the suspension of flights on the Ashgabat-Dubai-Ashgabat and Ashgabat-Abu Dhabi-Ashgabat routes until June 15, 2026," the statement read.
Passengers on cancelled flights have been offered two options: a full refund of their airfare, with no deductions, or a free change of departure date to the next available date. To do this, passengers should contact the place where they purchased their tickets or the airline's official representative offices.
The press service clarified that tickets purchased online on the airline's official website will be automatically refunded to the bank cards used for payment.
The airline previously made changes to its flight schedule on this route due to the situation in the region. Passengers are advised to monitor the latest flight status on the company's official website.
