Letter to my future self: Parisian cafe offers an unusual service

The Parisian establishment Café Pli has attracted worldwide attention with its unusual service. The café invites visitors to write a letter and send it to their future selves—one, five, or even twenty years into the future, according to the Daily Mail.

The letter is sealed with wax and placed in a special mailbox with a delivery date.

The price of the service depends on the storage period: one year costs €15, five years €25, and 20 years €45. The café offers the option to change the delivery address on its website in case customers move.

The idea came to founder Geneviève Landsmann after visiting a similar establishment in South Korea. Thanks to this original concept, Café Pli has become a popular destination, especially on social media.
