Etihad tops list of world's safest airlines

AirlineRatings.com has published a list of the 25 most reliable airlines in the world. This year, Middle Eastern carrier Etihad Airways took first place for the first time.

The resource's experts analyzed the operations of 320 airlines, taking into account fleet age, flight crew qualifications, and the implementation of turbulence avoidance systems.

Etihad Airways demonstrated the lowest incident rate per flight.

The portal's CEO, Sharon Petersen, noted that the gap between the leaders has narrowed: first and sixth place are separated by just 1.3 points.
