The Department of Dubai Economy and Tourism has launched a program that allows residents of the emirate to earn rewards for inviting friends and family from abroad.
UAE citizens and residents over the age of 18 with a valid Emirates ID are eligible to participate in the initiative. To participate, they must register the invited guest's details before their arrival. The program is open to tourists arriving in Dubai from July 20 to October 31, 2026, by air, sea, or road, with a valid tourist visa or eligibility for one upon arrival.
After the guest's arrival is confirmed, program participants will receive an email with a rewards package within 72 hours. Each bonus package is valued at over AED 3,000 (approximately $815).
It's important to understand that this isn't about cash payments, but rather a collection of vouchers, discounts, and special offers from partners:
Hotels: Up to 45% off room rates (for example, at Meliá Desert Palm) and special booking conditions.
Restaurants: Two-for-one deals on main courses at popular establishments (ULA, Asia Asia, The 305, etc.).
Entertainment: Free tickets to Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and other attractions.
Transportation and Lifestyle: Travel discounts and a free Careem Plus subscription.
The initiative doesn't require visas; travelers are responsible for obtaining them. According to Euronews, program participants will also receive discounts on hotel stays, free tickets to theme parks, and special offers at restaurants.
The program aims to promote Dubai as a tourist destination during the low summer season, when temperatures in the emirate can reach 50 degrees Celsius.
